The mission of CRIS Healthy-Aging Center is the provision of comprehensive services to the senior population of Vermilion County through various programs and activities which assist the older person to retain their dignity and independence and to remain in their own homes to avoid early unnecessary institutionalization in nursing homes or other facilities. CRIS is a private, non profit agency financed by the United Way, East Central Illinois Agency on Aging, Illinois Attorney General's Office, Title XX, Illinois Department of Transportation, client fees and donations. Some programs receive funds from Older Americans Act State GRF funds.
